New Album in the Works!

I have a story to tell…and I am going to be able to share it soon. We began recording in January and are expecting to wrap up this week. Recording this album has been a dream come true – everyone on my wish list to work with said “yes“ – and then they came in and nailed it. They brought the music and words that had been living in my head for the last 2-3 years to vivid life, with their own creativity, artistry and soul.

This project was funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. This project is also funded in part by a generous award from the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina.
This project was also funded in part by the Metropolitan Arts Council of Greenville, SC, which receives support from the City of Greenville, BMW Manufacturing Company and SEW Eurodrive.

These funds helped me to be able to bring in all of these extra artists, and their work is so important to our state. Big thanks to them. And big thanks to Ian Guthrie, Studio 101, Brandon Turner, Samuel Kruer, Darby Wilcox, Will Kimbrough, Elizabeth McCorvey, Admiral Radio, Molly Johnson, Audrey Neel, Fayssoux McLean, Matt Purinton, and Robert Gowan. Also to Harrison, Miles, and Rory, who “worked” for free!
