Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great Spring and Summer. It is hard to believe that September is already here! I have been playing more shows than ever this year and am so happy and grateful to continue to be able to do what I love and play music for a living; as I am also experiencing being a new Mom and all the joys that brings. Life is grand! I just wanted to update you on what I have been doing and some tour dates coming down the road.
This August I had the honor of being featured in a roundtable of Upstate musicians, including Paul Riddle (Marshall Tucker Band), Blues legend Mac Arnold and classical pianist Emile Pandolfi. The article and accompanying photos ran in Town Magazine. It was a wonderful evening and you can read the article here: http://www.towncarolina.com/features/30-artists/808-jam-session.html
With a new little one, I'm not doing as much touring this year, but I do have two little tours coming up; I will be coming to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Pennsylvania and New Jersey from Sept. 28-Oct. 3. Then I will be touring in Ohio and Michigan November 1-10. Please check my calendar page for all my tour dates and info and come see me!
I have also been finding time to write and will have several new songs to share at my shows! I am hoping to record and release a new album next year. Meanwhile, my new 2013 single "Arkansas Murder Ballad" is now available on CDBaby, Amazon, Itunes and more! I also have stickers you can pick up at a show with the artwork plus a download code for the song on the back.
Thanks again for continuing to believe in me and my music! I can't wait to share my new songs and stories with you!
